Also known as 'Tapper'

Michael Tapper is the bearded guy in We Are Scientists who plays the drums. He's okay at it, I guess. He is from Dallas in Texas (that's the US of A, of course, for anyone geographically challenged) - queue the theme music! It has to be said that he bears no resemblance to JR Ewing.

Michael is a bit of an enigma. The shy, retiring type who is either asleep when interviews are being done or doesn't contribute much, leaving him slightly underappreciated.
One thing he doesn't lack is the ability to be the most hirsute member of the band. Tapper's beard is often copied, never bettered.
Michael is a graduate of Harvey Mudd college in California. Clever boy.
